Presentation Title: Effect of M4 muscarinic receptor allosteric modulators on dopaminergic functions

Amy Chen graduated with an Honours Degree of Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science with a Formulation Science major in 2010. She then took a year off and worked as a research assistant at the Australian Centre of Pharmaceutical Innovation, a GlaxoSmithKline and MIPS Research and Development collaboration. Last year, she commenced a PhD with Dr Meritxell Canals, Dr Daniel Malone and Prof Arthur Christopoulos, investigating the effect of M4 muscarinic receptor allosteric modulators on dopaminergic function.
Amy is also a member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Science -- Monash University Student Chapter, Fundraising Representative for the Parkville Postgraduate Association and the 2013 Student Representative for Drug Discovery Biology. Outside of university, Amy enjoys exploring the culinary, literary, cinematic and musical worlds.
