A Conversation with Dean Ben Vinson III, Exploring Clean Energy Alternatives with Amit Ronen
Renewable energy costs have declined significantly in the past few years but the U.S. still derives the majority of its power from fossil fuels. In a conversation with Columbian College of Arts and Sciences Dean Ben Vinson, Amit Ronen discusses how solar power can be a viable "clean" energy alternative. Ronen is the director of the GW Solar Institute, which focuses on the public policy barriers holding back greater solar energy use. Since its founding in 2008 within the Columbian College, the Institute has become a respected source of research and analysis on solar energy.
